PAPER TOYOTA Closing
PAPER TOYOTA was successfully closed on December 5th.
Many PAPER TOYOTA events were actually carried out with strict measures in place against COVID-19. The works everyone submitted were exhibited as scheduled at the IAPMA International Paper Art Exhibition, at three facilities in Toyota City.
The number of infected people in Japan fortunately decreased over that time period, and many visitors came and gave praise.
The IAPMA Congress was held online in cooperation with IAPMA (International Association of Hand Papermakers and Paper Artists) and was attended by people from all over the world.
The top Japanese creators active in the world of paper were invited to a symposium that was actually held after taking measures against COVID-19.
It turned into a meaningful presentation and discussion, and it was well received.
We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who participated from Toyota City and around the world, and to all those who supported the event.

Notification of IAPMA Congress online
In view of the COVID-19 pandemic and the emergence of its various variants, for safety reasons we’ve decided that it’s not possible to hold the IAPMA Congress in TOYOTA with in-person attendance from participants from around the world.
It’s truly regrettable that we won’t be able meet you all in person, but matters will be discussed further between the IAPMA Committee and PAPER TOYOTA Committee to decide the best way to hold the IAPMA Congress online and within PAPER TOYOTA’s schedule. We’ll let you know as soon as we’ve decided.
The IAPMA Congress Exhibition that’s going to be held in conjunction with the IAPMA Congress in TOYOTA will be held at venues in Toyota City.
We’re committed to holding a PAPER TOYOTA that will benefit the future, and given the current social circumstances this is something we can do now more than ever. Thank you again for your understanding and cooperation.
